Spotted this solitary little larva near a small islet, next to the shore of Saronida (Saronic gulf, Aegean Sea). About 1cm in length and swimming close to the surface. Would really appreciate any suggestions!

Thank you Pascaline and Bruno for pointing towards the triglidae family. Of course fish humor is always welcome :)

Hi,
As wrote Pascaline, it is a triglid, but rather a juvenile than a larva.
Anyway, 8 triglid species are reported in the area, but I also doubt about a confident identification of the species on the basis of this sole image, even, of course, it is not a sole (sorry pleuronectiform humour!)

Hi Vasilis,
Yes, it seems to be a larva of a Triglidae, due to the fins and head forms. But I could not precise the species.
