Spotted near the surface, about 500m from shore, in the Saronic gulf. Haven't seen anything simmilar before, so I do not know if I am looking at a bunch of eggs or a pyrosoma colony. As always all suggestions are appreciated.

The oval-shaped colony is about 3-4cm in length and lacks the cylindtical tube on which all members of a pyrosoma colony are joined. I believe that last part excludes pyrosoma from the list of available suspects.

perhaps a little Pyrosome, Pyrosoma atlanticum.., A confirmer.

Thank you so much Pierre for always finding time to help me with my queries! It does indeed look like a Collozoum radiolarian colony.

Bonjour,
peut-être un p'tit gluant ou une espèce voisine?
